Welcome to our site! Paintball is an exciting, challenging sport that requires certain equipment to play. The following is a list of some of the paintball equipment you will need.

Paintball Mask/Goggles

A paintball mask, also referred to as goggles, is the first piece of equipment you should buy. Goggles are special masks that protect your eyes, ears, and mouth from injury. Players are not allowed on commercial playing fields without paintball regulation goggles. It's important to choose comfortable goggles with good peripheral vision, as you will be wearing them for the duration of the game.

Paintball Gun/Marker

Next you will need a paintball gun, also known as a marker. Markers use expanding gas, typically compressed air or carbon dioxide (CO2), to propel paintballs down the barrel. Most markers consist of four parts: the body, the hopper (usually not included with the marker unless purchased in a kit), the gas tank (also usually not included), and the barrel.

Paintballs

Paintballs are gelatin pellets that contain colored liquid. They come in various colors which helps in determining which team or player made a hit during a game.

CO2 or High Pressure Air Tanks

Paintball markers are powered by gas tanks that are typically filled with either carbon dioxide or high pressure air. Carbon dioxide is cheaper than high pressure air, and is a good option for the recreational player. The bigger a tank is, the longer you can shoot without having to stop for a refill.

Hopper

The hopper is the container that holds your paintballs. Hoppers are usually attached to the top of the marker, and can be gravity-fed or motorized.

Squeegee

Occasionally a paintball will break inside the barrel of a marker, rendering it unusable. A squeegee is a tool that is used to clean out the inside of a barrel so that it can be used again.
